Elsa Rodriguez
Senior Service Coordinator  

Mrs. Rodriguez provides social services to senior residents at Las Palmas’s Summercrest community in National City, California.  She has been a part of the Summercrest team since July 2007 and has been an asset to the community, providing excellent standard of care.  As the Senior Service Coordinator II, Mrs. Rodriguez provides intakes, assessments, on-going case management and referral services to seniors and adults with disabilities.  She coordinates educational sessions for residents and monitors the ongoing services that are delivered by community providers.  Mrs. Rodriguez assuress that the programs are appropriate and that the residents are receiving quality services and resources.  This outstanding care empowers the residents to be active, aware, and self sufficient. 

Fluent in English and Spanish, Mrs. Rodriguez has an extensive background in social work. She was employed at Rady’s Children’s Hospital, San Diego for thirteen years and specialized in the maltreatment of children and families.  In addition, Mrs. Rodriguez was a drug counselor for two years at a drug rehabilitation clinic.
