Bay View Landing – Service Goals

Our goals are to empower residents and support self sufficiency by providing supportive services. Programs are offered at no cost to our residents. Listed below are some of the services that will be provided, including but not limited to:

1. Computer Classes:
Classes will be taught twice a week to all interested residents at the on-site computer center.
Computer education begins with the computer instructor assessing the skill level of each participant. The instructor then works with each resident to help them individually and as a class, effectively navigate computer programs, the internet and other computer capabilities. The goal of computer education is to empower the families and support increased education and independence.

2. Volunteer Program:
Volunteers will help to fulfill part of our mission of providing quality, integrated services and activities for the residents living at Bay View Landing.

4. Financial classes to develop residents’ money management skills (checking and saving accounts), helping them manage and maintain their income, thereby ensuring financial stability.
